In 2025 I went through my own transition from employee to consultant. As I documented the process on LinkedIn, I've had numerous conversations with peers looking for inspiration for their own career journeys or simply wanting to compare notes on building visibility or how to find your footing in a contracting sector.
After hearing the same questions and repeating the same things enough times, I decided to write it all down.
